Series
Rules:
-
Series
will consist of 5 events. Competitors will count their best 3 finishes
and will be required to work 1 event. Working consists of one of the
following: rally master, a control worker or a pre-check crew.
- To
be eligible for a series award, the competitor must be a full CKR member or
an associate CKR member. Entrants who join after running an event may
count their 2 most recent events for points.
- Points
will be awarded in class and the driver and navigator will receive equal
points. Points may not be transferred between classes.
- Classes
are unlimited, equipped and stock as described in the
2008 National Road
Rally Rules with the exception that the stock class may use any hand held
electronic or mechanical calculator. Novice class is for cars which
neither competitor has run more than 4 TSD rallies. If you run your
first event as a novice you will continue as a novice as long as you
continue to run with another novice competitor. The equipment limits
for the Novice class are the same as for stock class. The Historic
class is for pre 1990 cars and the equipment limitations are the same as the
stock class.
- Points
will be based on your finish in class with 1st place receiving 10 points,
2nd-8 points, 3rd-6 points, 4th -5 points, 5th -4 points, 6th -3 points, 7th
-2 points and all others will receive 1 point.
- Series
events will be at least 60 miles long with a minimum of 4 timing controls.
