"March Madness" Rally

Start: Palomar Centre, Lexington , KY (Intersection of Harrodsburg Road and Man ‘o War Blvd )
Registration: 9:15 to 10:00 a.m.
Entrants Meeting: 10:00 a.m.
First car out: 10:31a.m.
Entry Fee:

$20/car if both entrants are SCCA Members

$25/car if only one entrant is an SCCA Member

$30/car if neither entrant is an SCCA Member

The event will use all paved roads and easy route following.  Classes are based on equipment for experienced rallyists plus there will be a Novice class for competitors who have run fewer than 4 TSD rallies and a Historic class for competitors in pre 1990 cars.

"Metamucil Regularity" Rally

Start: FatKatz Pizza.  I-75 Exit 125 in Georgetown , go 100 yds east on US460 and it's on the right.
Registration: 8:30 to 9:00 a.m.
Entrants Meeting: 9:00 a.m.
First car out: 9:31a.m.

$30/car if neither entrant is an SCCA Member

This rally is a little different from what CKR has done recently.

This is a two-lap rally, in which there are no assigned speeds (there are, however, suggested maximum speeds which will be covered in the drivers' meeting). The goal is to drive the second lap at exactly the same speed as you drove the first lap. Your first lap arrival times at each checkpoint determine your target arrival times for the second lap, and you are scored from 0 to 300 based on how many hundredths of a minute early or late you arrive at the checkpoints the second time around.

There's no odo run; as there are no set speeds the distances don't matter. The checkpoints will be hidden the first time around and visible the second. Since they're hidden, you can't stop at them.

There will be a break between the two halves of the rally. Second lap start times will be determined during the break. Total mileage is around 110.
